Job Description
The Northwestern Provincial Health Office under the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PERPAR) Project through a Cooperative Agreement (CoAg) with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is Seeking for eligible, self-motivated and qualified applicants for the positions listed below for the various levels (Provincial, District, Facility and Community).
JOB PURPOSE: Work with facility staff to timely enter and analyze all TB/HIV data relating to patient interactions using appropriate information systems for guiding clinical decisions making, programming and service delivery improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Enters all patient information in an accurate and timely manner using appropriate information systems.
Provides data for clinical decision support and feedback to HC/Ps on linkage, VL eligibility, suppression, treatment attrition and patient records completeness
Provides data management, accuracy, and technical support to H/F staff on HMIS/MER indicators including respective information systems (DHIS2, Smart Care, ELMIS, etc.)
Submits of all required reports as per reporting deadlines and information system
Undertakes monthly data analysis and performance review meetings with H/F staff.
Participates in ECHO sessions and Situation Room Meeting
Routinely updates performance charts/graphs for respective H/Fs
Conducts data verifications and validations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency prior to report submission to the next levels.
Ensures data alignment for similar PEPFAR and GRZ indicators
Provides data for guiding facility planning and service delivery improvement.
Undertakes maintenance of facility EHR servers, workstation, databases, and peripheral devices
Undertakes maintenance of a system error log and escalation of errors
Participates in QI/QA activities QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
Full grade 12 School Certificate with five Levels
Diploma in M&E, Computer Sciences, Public Health, and Information Technology or equivalent.
Minimum two years’ relevant work experience
OTHER SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
Able to write comprehensive reports.
Able to communicate effectively in English.
Computer literate and trustworthy
