Job Description
The Northwestern Provincial Health Office under the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PERPAR) Project through a Cooperative Agreement (CoAg) with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is Seeking for eligible, self-motivated and qualified applicants for the positions listed below for the various levels (Provincial, District, Facility and Community).
JOB PURPOSE: To undertake human resource management functions in order to boost staff morale and enhance smooth operations of the CDC project in the province.
• Undertakes timely, identification of vacancies in order to facilitate filling of vacant positions
• Undertakes effectively, review and submission of time sheets to accounts in order to facilitate recoveries and payment of salaries and allowances.
• Undertakes regularly, and accurately, interpretation and implementation of contractual Terms and Conditions of Service and the Code of conduct in order to enhance adherence to GRZ regulations
• Undertakes timely, and accurately, human resource forecasting in order to determine appropriate interventions
• Undertakes timely, processing of documents for separations and resignations in order to facilitate decision making
• Undertakes effectively, updating of database in order to facilitate efficient storage and retrieval of information
• Facilitates regularly and prompt Performance management
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
Minimum Primary/Secondary Education:
Full grade 12 School Certificate with 5 O Level Credits or better
Minimum Vocational/Professional Qualifications:
BA Degree – Degree in Human Resource or related field
Must be a member of Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM)
Minimum Relevant Pre-Job Experience:
3 years
Communication Skills
i) Written Skills:
Able to write comprehensive reports
ii) Oral Skills:
Able to communicate effectively in English
Other Skills/Attributes
Computer literate
