Job Description
The Northwestern Provincial Health Office under the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PERPAR) Project through a Cooperative Agreement (CoAg) with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is Seeking for eligible, self-motivated and qualified applicants for the positions listed below for the various levels (Provincial, District, Facility and Community).
JOB PURPOSE : To coordinate the implementation of TB/HIV programs in order to improve patient clinical outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinates effectively the implementation of TB Prevention programs in order to reduce TB Incidence.
• Coordinates effectively the implementation of Case Identification in order to facilitate improved clinical outcomes.
• Coordinates effectively the implementation of TB/HIV Treatment programs in order to improve treatment outcomes.
• Undertakes effectively monitoring and evaluation of TB/HIV programs in order to facilitate appropriate interventions.
• Coordinates and undertakes effectively capacity building programs in order to impart knowledge and skills.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES
Primary/Secondary Education:
Full Grade 12 Certificate with 5 O level credits or better
Professional Qualifications:
Degree in Clinical Medicine or equivalent
Minimum Relevant Pre-Job Experience:
3 Years
Communication Skills:
(i) Written Skills
Ability to write comprehensive reports
(ii) Oral Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively in English
(iii) Other skills/Attributes:
computer literate, integrity, confidentiality, initiative and analytical skills.
