Job Description
PROVINCIAL HEALTH OFFICE
The Northwestern Provincial Health Office under the US president’s Emergency Plan for AIDS relief (PEPFAR) project through a cooperative agreement (CoAg) with the US centers for Disease
Control and prevention (CDC), is seeking for eligible, self-motivated and qualified applicants for the positions listed below for the various levels (Provincial, District, Facility and Community).
PROVINCIAL HEALTH OFFICE
JOB PURPOSE: To supervise and coordinate the provision of HIV/TB pharmaceutical services and products in order to ensure effective delivery of health care.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinates effectively the management of pharmaceutical logistics in order to ensure availability.
- Coordinates effectively the implementation of pharmacovigilance in order to facilitate decision making.
- Undertakes effectively capacity building programs in order to impart knowledge and skills.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
Primary/Secondary Education:
- Full Grade 12 certificate with at least five o level credits or better.
Minimum Vocational/ Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmacy or equivalent
Minimum Relevant Pre-Job Experience:
- 3 years relevant work experience
- Affiliated to HPCZ with valid practicing license
Communication Skills:
(i). Written Skills
- Ability to write comprehensive reports
(ii). Oral Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively in English
(iii) Other skills/Attributes:

Interpersonal skills
